I listen to the keynote discussion with Tristan walker from foursquare on Tuesday evening at SMX 2011 talk all the new changes in foursquare 3.0 and what this will mean for local business. This was exciting for me because I have been working with allot of local business in helping them establish there presents in an area they are just starting to understand. there is more things that will help them get started and be able to learn more about the people checking in to there venues.
With the release of foursquare 3.0, we overhauled everything: we have an all-new analytics dashboard with all your venue’s information; there’s a new Specials management system allowing you to run multiple Specials at any venues you manage; and before, during, and after the campaign you can now see aggregate statistics. Starting Friday, those quarter million businesses who have already verified, and the thousands more that join foursquare each week, will have these all-new tools to build their businesses.
